Anyone who deals with chemicals will need to be aware of this new system to understand its relevance and your obligations, and we encourage you to attend this informative Briefing. PLEASE NOTE: From 1 January 2017, the GHS will be MANDATORY in NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, NT, ACT and Commonwealth jurisdictions (except for VIC and WA). From 1 July 2017, the classification, labelling and safety data sheets (SDSs) under the GHS is scheduled to come into effect in Victoria.
