Globally Harmonized System for Classifying and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) BRIEFING – November 25, 2015

This informative Briefing has been designed to bring those that deal with chemicals, up to speed with the new GHS system to enable you to understand its relevance and your obligations. From 1 January 2017, the GHS for Classifying and Labelling of Chemicals will be mandatory in NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, ACT, NT and Commonwealth jurisdictions. It is already acceptable in VIC and WA, and a large number of Australian companies are adopting it now. A 5 year transitional period, that will expire on 31 December 2016, has been provided by Worksafe Australia for companies to implement the new system.

Transitioning to ISO 14001:2015 CERTIFICATION: WORKSHOP – December 3, 2015

This certified course will allow participants to transition their ISO 14001 certified system to the updated standard and conduct audits against the ISO 14001:2015 standard. The Workshop will focus on the segregation of dangerous goods rules, chemical compatibility, placarding of stores, vehicles and containers, labelling, bunding rules of storage of dangerous goods, risk assessment requirements and much more.
