On 1 January 2012, the new Work Health & Safety (WHS) Regulation in NSW commenced for the storage and handling of dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals. The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) will be conducting its Introductory Level to Dangerous Goods Storage, Handling and Transport Workshop in Sydney on 20 July 2012 that will cover this new law.
New Work Health & Safety (WH&S) Regulation for the storage and handling of dangerous goods and hazardous chemicals for NSW commenced on 1 January 2012. This comprehensive Intermediate Level workshop will focus on the segregation and compatibility of chemicals; the segregation rules and techniques - segretation devices for stores and vehicles; Bunding rules for containing a potential chemical spill; Placarding of stores, vehicles and containers, and much more. The workshop will provide a number of practical exercises.
