Site contamination remains a significant legal and commercial issue for those involved in the buying, selling and the management of property.   The implementation of the upcoming Victorian Contaminated Land laws will add to the complexity of contaminated land management that will increase obligations on landowners and occupiers – and we recommend you start preparing for these changes.

The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) together with our Partners – MinterEllison lawyers and Peter J Ramsay & Associates have developed this Webinar to assist you to remain compliant.  The Webinar will provide:

  • A legal perspective on preparing your organisation for the upcoming changes to Victorian contaminated land laws;
  • An update from a legal perspective on contaminated land compliance within the jurisdictions of the Commonwealth, NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, NT, ACT, WA, TAS, including PFAS NEMP 2.0 and the National Remediation Framework;
  • Best practice options for implementing contaminated land management to ensure compliance, with key consideration to implementing approaches to comply with the upcoming Victorian legislation.
