All Manufacturers, suppliers and users of chemicals –
This Briefing will provide details of the changes that apply for Victoria, including all states and territories across Australia
Victoria: From 1 July 2017, the Globally Harmonized System for the Classifying and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) will come into effect in Victoria. All manufacturers, suppliers and users of chemicals in Victoria including other states, should be aware of this new law to ensure you and the employees of your organisation are up to date with the changes and compliant.
Western Australia: On 3 March 2017, the Western Australian Government gazetted the Dangerous Goods Safety Regulations Amendment Regulations 2017. The legislation amends certain regulations to provide reference to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) for chemical classification and labelling.
The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) has designed this comprehensive Briefing to bring you up to speed with the changes including your obligations from across Australia to ensure you, your employees and organisation are compliant.
