The Federal election is set for 2 July 2016. Industry, business and councils dealing with environment and carbon matters need to know what government’s policy may look like post election.
Keynote speaker – The Hon Mark Butler, Federal Shadow Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water will present on Labor’s environment and carbon policy as it relates to industry and business. The conference will explore the opportunities and implications, from a legal perspective, of certain key features of Government’s and the Opposition’s policies for industry and business across Australia.
The conference will outline a number of changes to your environmental and carbon obligations for business across Australia – that are set to take effect in mid 2016 or shortly thereafter.

The Conference will conclude with AEBN Member Networking Evening and Drinks from 4.00pm to 5.30pm on 17 June 2016 at HWL Ebsworth Lawyers, L26, 530 Collins Street Melbourne. Cancellation
If you are unable to attend, a substitute delegate from your organisation is welcome at no extra charge. However, should you wish to cancel, all cancellations must be received in writing to registration@aebn.com.au no later than 7 days prior to the event for a full refund. No refunds will be issued after this time, however notes will be forwarded by mail following the event.
