Victoria<\/strong>:\u00a0 From 1 July 2017, the Globally Harmonized System for the Classifying and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)<\/em> will come into effect\u00a0in Victoria.\u00a0 All manufacturers, suppliers and users of chemicals in Victoria\u00a0including other states, should be aware of this new law to\u00a0ensure\u00a0you and the employees of your organisation are up to date with the changes and compliant.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Western Australia<\/strong>:\u00a0 On 3 March 2017, the Western Australian Government gazetted<\/a> the Dangerous Goods Safety Regulations Amendment Regulations 2017.\u00a0 The legislation amends\u00a0certain regulations to provide reference to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) for chemical classification and labelling.<\/p>\n
